HQ COMPANY SPECIAL ENERGY PHILIPPINES INC. has obtained a Certificate of Non-Coverage (CNC) from the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) of the Philippines, in connection with the 5MW solar farm project being developed by the Zamboanga Ecozone in the Philippines.
The official certification number is CNC-OL-R09-2026-08-00314, and it was issued to HQ COMPANY SPECIAL ENERGY PHILIPPINES INC. on August 19, 2026.
The project site is Zamboanga Ecozone, located at Sitio San Ramon, Barangay Talisayan, Zamboanga City, and the certificate specifies that the project is a solar farm with a total generation capacity of 5 MW.
The CNC is one of the environmental administrative procedures used to verify the classification and scope of application of a project in relation to the Philippines’ Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) system. Through this certificate issuance, HQ COMPANY SPECIAL ENERGY PHILIPPINES INC. has made significant progress in the key environmental administrative procedures of the Zamboanga Ecozone Solar Project.
