On June 23, IEK CEO Yongsoo “Samuel” Cho attended a special reception at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, commemorating the Philippines’ 127th Independence Anniversary and the 76th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and South Korea.

The event celebrated the strong friendship and continued partnership between the two nations, highlighting their shared history and growing cooperation in various fields. Philippine Ambassador to Korea Theresa B. The gathering also highlighted the significance of the Korea-Philippines Free Trade Agreement, which aims to further enhance cooperation and open new opportunities for both countries.

With South Korea preparing to host the 2025 APEC Summit and the Philippines set to lead ASEAN in 2026, opportunities for deeper collaboration continue to grow.

The reception served as a meaningful occasion to celebrate friendship, shared progress, and the ongoing partnership between the Philippines and South Korea.
