On September 25, 2025, IEK HQ Philippines Holdings Inc., under the leadership of CEO Mr. Yongsoo Cho, aligned its strategic vision with the global dialogue at the Business Partner City (BPC) Roundtable 2025 held in Osaka, Japan. Hosted by the Osaka City Government and the Osaka Business Partner City Council, the roundtable brought together municipal leaders and chambers of commerce from across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss climate resilience, urban sustainability, and decarbonization.

The event served as a platform for cities and business leaders to exchange insights on realizing a decarbonized society through shared policy frameworks and innovation. Delegates explored opportunities for cross-border cooperation in green technology and reaffirmed their commitment to Expo 2025’s sustainability agenda. IEK HQ recognized the strategic relevance of this gathering, particularly in reinforcing its clean energy initiatives and expanding its regional partnerships.

The Philippine delegation was notably strengthened by the presence of Dr. Reghis M. Romero II, Chairman of the Board of RMR Capital Inc. and Special Envoy of the Philippine President to Japan for Business and Investment Promotion, whose leadership continues to elevate the country’s global investment profile. He was joined by Mr. Karl Lyel B. Lim, Executive Assistant to the Chairman and Chief of Staff to the Special Envoy, whose coordination and diplomatic engagement supported the delegation’s strategic objectives.

IEK HQ’s participation reflects its dedication to supporting national and municipal energy goals through solar innovation, infrastructure development, and smart logistics. The company looks forward to deepening its engagement with Osaka and other partner cities, contributing to a shared future of climate action and sustainable growth.
