Baguio City, September 30, 2025 — In a strategic move to advance renewable energy development in Northern Luzon, the Cebu-based team of IEK HQ Special Energy Inc. visited the PEZA Baguio Economic Zone to conduct an ocular inspection and preliminary site survey for a proposed solar farm installation.
Leading the IEK HQ delegation were Director Wonseok Lee and Manager Joonyoung An, whose technical and operational oversight reflects IEK’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions. They were joined by Engr. John Kyle Bitoon and Mr. Samuel Su, CEO of NTS Corporation, reinforcing the collaborative nature of the initiative.
The team met with PEZA Engineer Daniel Pecsoy, whose guidance and local expertise helped facilitate a productive on-site assessment. The visit marks the foundational phase of IEK’s plan to deploy clean energy infrastructure within PEZA zones, supporting industrial operations with reliable, low-emission power.
This joint effort between IEK HQ Special Energy Inc., NTS Corporation, and PEZA underscores a shared vision for innovation, environmental stewardship, and regional empowerment. Technical documentation and feasibility studies are now underway to formalize the next steps in project development.
